Jonas International attended the GCMA conference at HinckleyIsland last week alongside many other industry suppliers. The brands of Jonas International being presented were Jonas Club Management, Club View, ClubMinder and the new COMMiT suite with an aim to distinguish between the various brands as they grow in number.
Delegates were encouraged to visit the Jonas stand with a free raffle in which a numbered COMMiT branded mug was chosen at random from a pile. Rijo 42 very kindly supplied coffee and other tasty hot beverages to be served in the mugs.
When the conference closed down on Wednesday, a name was drawn by a member of the Hotel staff to win £200 in Red Letter Day vouchers – just in time for Christmas! This initiative helped Jonas meet most delegates in attendance.
Jonas is pleased to announce that the winner of these vouchers is Scott Patience from Reigate Heath Golf Club. Scott has been at the Golf Club a very short time, since 1st November!
Established in 1895, the beautiful Surrey course plays 9 holes with 18 different tees and for the most part follows its original layout. With beautiful scenery, including a landmark windmill, the likes of Ryder Cup star Ronan Rafferty describes the course as “some of the most beautiful golfing territory you can play on”.
Scott has worked with Jonas Club Management Software at both Worplesdon and Windlesham Golf Clubs since 2010. “I have been impressed with the Jonas Club Management system in my experience of it. We are currently evaluating our systems and although the Jonas Club Management system seems ‘too big’ a system, COMMiT has been the one that stands out.”
Scott was delighted to learn of his win and we look forward to hearing which experience he chooses.
