Jonas Club Software, one of the world’s best-known providers of software to the club industry, has joined the Asian Golf Industry Federation (AGIF).
More than 2,300 clubs in almost 20 countries across the world, with memberships ranging from 100 to 20,000, utilise Jonas Club Software ‘to build and enrich member relationships, increase revenues, and decrease costs’.
Alan Threadgold CCM, (pictured)Vice-President of Operations with Jonas Club Software, said: “We strive to provide the best software, communication and service solutions in the club industry.
“All of our products are developed and supported in-house, allowing us to ensure the highest quality service standards. This also affords our clients the peace of mind that every application in our suite of more than 60 individual modules has been designed to work seamlessly as one integrated system.
“While we are new to the Asian club market, we bring with us more than 20 years of club industry experience throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. We are confident that the innovative technology we have developed, thanks to input from our clients throughout the world, will present a compelling new option to the Asian market.
“Admittedly, entering into any new market presents unique challenges, which is why joining the AGIF was an obvious first step. It is our hope that over the coming months and years we become a valued partner of clubs throughout Asia, and a trusted contributor of education and insights to the industry as a whole.”
Eric Lynge, the AGIF’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We’re looking forward to helping Jonas build its business in Asia through participation in our educational events around the region.”
Launched in September 1990, Gary Jonas Computing Ltd quickly established itself as a premier developer and leading provider of integrated software systems for the club, hotel, construction and service billing industries.
In December 2003, Gary Jonas Computing (‘Jonas’) became a division of Constellation Software Inc (‘CSI’).
Following the acquisition, Mark Leonard, President of CSI, said: “I am delighted that Gary Jonas chose to sell the business to CSI. In the process of examining hundreds of private and public vertical market software companies, we have never encountered a company that has consistently exhibited the growth and operating excellence demonstrated by Jonas Computing.”
CSI is a global software company that acquires and builds high market share, mission-critical, vertical market software companies in growing industries. CSI has consistently maintained profitable growth for a number of years and is entirely debt free.
“The stability of CSI provides a solid foundation for Jonas to grow for years to come,” said a company spokesperson. “The ‘Buy and Hold Forever’ strategy which CSI pursues allows us to invest in our businesses for the long-term and ensure employees and customers are taken care of for life.”
