Huxley Golf playing surfaces have been installed at the UK’s most cutting-edge indoor training academy. FairWeather Golf in Camberley, Surrey, is a high tech haven for golfers at all levels. Along with six golf simulators (enabling play on thirty championship courses without the travel!), a custom fit studio, a licenced bar and professional coaches on-hand, FairWeather Golf proudly plays host to the UK’s first two RoboGolfPro training robots. This comprehensive offering is the first of its kind.

Luke Sims, Managing Director of FairWeather Golf, said: “Our mission is to provide the highest quality, most comprehensive, state-of-the-art indoor training facility, so it was imperative that we specified the best products available throughout. Huxley Golf was the obvious choice for our golf surfaces. The company’s reputation for being the best in the business preceded them – and I wasn’t disappointed. From initial enquiry the whole process was very simple and the finished installation perfect.”

Huxley Golf Premier Nylon Putting Green Turf with integrated Huxley Turfill was used to create a large indoor putting green. 20ft (6m) x 15ft (4.5m) with four practice holes, the green was expertly designed and cut to reflect the modern aesthetic of the rest of the facility and completed with a fringe surround. Huxley Golf also surfaced the six Golf Tech simulators installed there.

Paul Chester, General Manager at Huxley Golf, said: “We always aim to be at the forefront of developments in the golfing industry and we’ve been involved with many highly innovative approaches in recent years. FairWeather Golf takes this to a whole new level and we are delighted to be aligned with RoboGolfPro, Golf Tech, TrackMan, Boditrak and K-Vest – the best training brands in the business. We wish the team enormous success with this exciting initiative.”

RoboGolfPro is proven to deliver guaranteed results in just one hour. It enables golfers to achieve the correct golf swing for their ability and physique by actually feeling what their body is supposed to be doing, rather than just being told. Students build muscle memory with perfect practice, which translates to exceptional results. What’s more it works for golfers at all levels. Golf Pro Nate Weidner was instrumental of RoboGolfPro’s development and he holds a Master Instructor Certificate. Nate has joined the FairWeather Golf team from the legendary Pebble Beach Golf Links.

US Professional Vaughan Taylor boosted his PGA winnings by nearly 3,000% in just nine months with RoboGolfPro. He said: “I recommend it to everyone of all ages and sizes. It’s an awesome training aid!” BBC sports correspondent Chris Hollins, who attended FairWeather Golf’s official launch, commented: “It’s a remarkable machine and a fascinating experience. I’ve not tried anything like it in golf before.”

Professional coaches are encouraged to join the FairWeather Golf academy as affiliate members, enabling them to use the superlative facilities to conduct lessons year-round. Meanwhile, plans are afoot to take RoboGolfPro out on tour, opening up opportunities for clubs around the UK to benefit without the high capital investment. However anyone can benefit from using the academy which is open seven days a week. Find out more at http://fairweather.golf/.
