Hole19 reports record growth and seeks new hires

9.31am 12th January 2022 - Corporate

Hole19, a company that produces a multi-functional golf app with over 2.8 million registered users, has begun a recruitment drive in response to posting record levels of company and user growth over the past 12 months.

Within that period, user engagement within the Hole19 Golf app rapidly increased, with more than 9.1 million individual golf rounds logged by golfers across the world – a 43% year-on-year increase – and 530,000 brand new golfers registered, representing a 25% increase on 2020 figures. Last year saw YoY revenue growth almost double (+90%), while gross profit margin rose to 25%.

The team expanded from 16 to 21 in the past year, and now, to help support and accelerate growth, the company is on the lookout for talented and passionate individuals to fill multiple positions.

Hole19’s GPS & Scoring app has been the main driver of the business, but in 2022 and beyond, the company plans to expand into new lines of business around building the Hole19 lifestyle brand. To help scale the company’s hiring efforts, Hole19 has also partnered with GTE Search, a new firm specialised in golf and technology recruitment.

Hole19 CEO Anthony Douglas said: “It’s been a spectacular year for us in terms of growth and this brings new and exciting challenges. We are now gearing up for our next phase of growth and looking for ambitious individuals to join our team. Interested parties should visit our website’s hiring page to find a list of the roles on offer.”
