Harrods putts holed with Huxley

8.11am 12th March 2008 - Corporate

The Nevada Bob’s Concession Store at Harrods has commissioned Huxley Golf to install a state-of-the-art Huxley All-Weather Putting Green within its prestigious golf shop located on the fifth floor of the famous Knightsbridge department store in London.

The franchise store owner, James Peters, said, “The surface of the Huxley All-Weather Putting Green is superb, enabling customers to try out and select the most suitable putter for them on a true surface which ensures a perfect ball roll. We are delighted with Huxley Golf’s professional approach and service.”

Martin New, franchise manager of Nevada Bob’s, commented that the company had no hesitation in recommending Huxley Golf and its products to all of our existing and new stores.

“Nevada Bob’s is very pleased with the service and range of products that Huxley Golf has to offer,” he said. “Several of our stores have already selected Huxley Modular Greens for display in their stores because the staff can alter the location of the green thanks to their portable design. The Huxley Rotanet golf practice net has also proved extremely popular with our customers and we are working with Huxleys on a new in-store brochure.”

Huxley Golf’s sales manager, Paul Chester, said, “Nevada Bob’s and Harrods obviously wanted the premier putting surface on the market and we are happy that they selected Huxley Golf. The installation took place outside store opening hours but, thankfully, the lifts were still working as the sports department is located on the fifth floor.”

Huxley Golf’s clients include eight Major Championship winners and a number of world-renowned golf courses including St Andrews and Wentworth.
