Golf software company Awesome Golf has completed its largest installation to date at Grimsby Golf Centre in Lincolnshire.
Each of the 18 bays are fitted with FlightScope Range units and touchscreens powered by Awesome Golf Range software. This combination is proving popular with players of all ages and abilities, with the centre’s owner, Colin Jenkin, reporting that his range income has already doubled since the system went live.
Jenkins said: “There are a number of flight tracking systems on the market, but very few that can also track the clubface through impact and relate this data to the ball’s flight. This sounds highly complex, but the result is an array of fun-based games and some easy-to-follow stats that can lead the improving golfer to a clearer path to better play. We’ve seen a significant impact here already with our income doubling in a matter of week.!”
This installation is a first for Awesome Golf, because despite being used in various locations worldwide, including Golf Pods and indoor studios, Grimsby Golf Centre is the first full-length range where the system has been installed.

The data available is more than sufficient for coaching and club fitting, which, thanks to the unique set up offered by Awesome Golf Range, is available across all bays. The customer experience is enhanced by using the Awesome Golf Community App, which enables players to enter challenges and play against golfers at a global and local level.
