ProQuip Golf Ltd announces a new deal making Greg Norman Collection an approved supplier to Foremost Golf. The agreement sees ProQuip given the green light to sell Greg Norman Collection clothing and headwear direct to Foremost Golf’s 1,000 plus member golf professionals in the UK and Ireland.

Greg Norman Collection, one of the world’s leading golf inspired sportswear brands, returned to UK golf shops in 2015 after ProQuip Golf Ltd acquired exclusive distribution rights to the brand for the UK and Ireland.

Inspired by two-time Open Champion and former World Number One Greg Norman, GNC makes luxurious high performance clothing for active, sophisticated men and women ranging in age from 35 to 55.

Russell Brooks, general manager of ProQuip Golf Ltd, said: “ProQuip is delighted to partner with Foremost Golf to make Greg Norman Collection apparel available to its member professionals.

Greg Norman Collection is an American company and has developed a number of proprietary fabric technologies that deliver function and performance with luxury styling, comfort and feel.

Play Dry® technology provides an innovative moisture management system that transports perspiration to the garment’s outer layer where it evaporates into air, keeping the wearer dry, cool and comfortable.

ML75 tech guarantees that GNC shirts have flexible stretch properties and are around 30 per cent lighter than the average golf polo shirt.

ProQuip anticipates that Greg Norman Collection will quickly establish itself as a major player within the club cresting niche and says that it will benefit from ProQuip’s established infrastructure.

The Scottish company is recognised for its outstanding service levels, exceptional product warranties and low rate of returns. ProQuip also operates a dedicated embroidery house and extensive warehousing where it can hold enough stock to meet orders at once, all year round.

“Retailers are going to find that GNC represents exceptional value for money when it comes to crested clothing. Our shirts start at £9.49 and £17.55 for Merino blend knitwear and crucially the collection is available in classic core colours that will appeal to almost every demographic within a club’s membership,” added Russell Brooks.

Chris Glenday, approved supplier manager, Foremost Golf, said: “We welcome the arrival of Greg Norman Collection as a new approved supplier to the group. The GNC brand will provide an authentic golf apparel solution for a customer demographic that is highly valued by our member retailers. We are sure that our members will enjoy working with Greg Norman Collection under the management of ProQuip Golf, a trusted and established Foremost supplier.”

ProQuip Golf launched the new Greg Norman Collection 2016/17 range last month with a new trade catalogue featuring six technical fabric polo shirts, trousers, shorts, five styles of premium Merino blend knitwear and head wear for men and ladies.

Greg Norman branded header boards, side fins and garment hangers are available to stockists for in-store merchandising.
