GPS Industries Inc., the world’s leading provider of WiFi-enabled GPS golf management systems and targeted on-course media, has gained early positive results from its sales agreement with Global Golf Advisors (GGA) – formerly KPMG Golf Industry Practice.

The agreement between GPS Industries and Global Golf Advisors was signed 15th June, 2007 with the expectation of achieving $16.5m. sales over 12 months. After just the first 45 days of the relationship GGA has secured sales of the company’s Inforemer Golf Management System in Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee and Washington State, as well as in Canada and the Bahamas.

GPSI President and CEO Robert Silzer, Sr said, “I knew GGA’s impact on our sales performance would be substantial and I am pleased that we have achieved such strong early results. Their influence throughout the golf industry is reflected not only in the volume of business we’ve concluded but also in the geographic diversity of the customers they’ve attracted. GGA has already helped us close a dozen deals in three countries and that speaks volumes about the potential of this relationship.”

Stephen Johnston, president and principal founder of Global Golf Advisors, commented, “The Inforemer system is unique in that it delivers a demonstrable positive return on investment for the golf course at a price that has never been seen before in this industry. That’s why we are so excited about partnering with GPS Industries. We are enabling golf course owners to realize a direct financial benefit while improving their competitive advantage in their marketplace.”

For the past fourteen years, Global Golf Advisors has provided specialized consulting and support services to over 1,900 golf courses.
