Golfstream, the market-leader for 100% British designed and built powered golf trolleys, has expanded its sales force with the appointment of two well-known representatives.

Sales in Ireland will be handled by the vastly-experienced Fade Agencies, Dublin, headed by Barry Nestor, which for many years has worked with major brands including PowaKaddy, Calvin Klein Golf, Cutter & Buck, Dwyers and Co and GolfBuddy.

In the South East, Golfstream will be represented by Stuart Crabtree of Crabtree Golf Ltd, another experienced golf sales professional who has previously worked with Golfsmith and Macgregor and currently represents brands including Big Max pull trolleys, Crocs and Rife.

Golfstream is regarded as making the most reliable golf trolleys in the UK from its headquarters in Ramsgate, Kent, and has just posted a record sales month in April amid a massive surge in trade demand for its Revolution and Evolution Digital trolleys.

Said Barry Nestor: “Having established widespread sales across Ireland for powered trolleys, I have been massively impressed by the very high quality and reliability of Golfstream’s trolleys and believe they will have enormous appeal.

“Golfers in Ireland demand performance and reliability and there is no doubt in my mind that Golfstream are heading towards being the market-leaders in delivering this in the UK and we plan to emulate this in Ireland.

“The product range is outstanding and the support and back-up second-to-none so we’re very excited to be representing the company in Ireland and Northern Ireland.”

Fast-growing Golfstream is Europe’s leading name in trolley spares and accessories and excels when it comes to producing powered golf trolleys. Its Revolution and Evolution Digital trolleys feature high-grade Electromech electronics and are rated as the most reliable and solid trolleys available in the UK.

The company also carries in stock a huge range of wheels, batteries, chargers, golf bags, spares and accessories for most popular trolley brands – which the company dispatches all over Europe.

This includes CaddyCell – a superlight Lithium-Ion battery which is more than 75% lighter than a standard lead acid battery. The CaddyCell Lithium weighs just 2.1 kilos and can be lifted with a single finger.

Golfstream is partner supplier to the TGI Partnership and this month (May) launches a bespoke Golfstream Edge trolley for the renowned group.
