GOLFINO, Europe’s market leader for high-quality golf wear announces the opening of a new London West End Flagship Store, with a lifestyle-oriented design concept

GOLFINO, the leading European brand in golf sportswear, is celebrating the opening of its new London West End Store, its first standalone boutique in the UK capital.

Situated onSouth Molton Street, in the heart of Mayfair, GOLFINO London West End is the latest in a long line of store openings in cosmopolitan locations, includingEdinburgh,Paris,Berlin,Munich,Zurich,MarbellaandPalmainMajorca.

The 71m2 store is perfectly positioned in London’s luxury shopping district, a short walk from world-famous Bond Street, and was officially opened during a special reception, on the eve of London Fashion Week, attended by GOLFINO owners, Dr Bernd Kirsten and his wife Christel, and a host of VIP guests including BBC TV presenter, Chris Hollins, and top model and the face of GOLFINO’s Autumn|Winter 2012|2013 Collection, Sophie Anderton.

GOLFINO London West End’s new generation of store design, exuding an atmosphere of a modern sporting lifestyle with a relaxed and prestigious ambience, features bright furnishings dominated by a white background and combines with a sporty green colour to create a fresh, appealing atmosphere.

The London West End store follows the June opening of GOLFINO Edinburgh on Multrees Walk and sits alongside its network of prestigious resort and golf course stockists that include The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews, Scotland, Turnberry Resort, Ayrshire, Carnoustie Golf Links, Angus and Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Lancashire.

Founded in 1986 by Dr Kirsten and his wife, GOLFINO has grown into one of Europe’s sportswear success stories – increasing sales of its women’s, men’s and children’s clothing by 11%, to €33.5 million in its latest financial year. In addition to its standalone stores, GOLFINO also boasts 500 Shops-in-Shop partners across 18 European countries.
