GolfBuddy delegates line up at the company’s European Sales Conference on the steps of Carton House, Ireland

Twenty-three delegates from around the world attended the recent GolfBuddy European Sales Conference, staged at the magnificent Carton House in Maynooth, Ireland.

GolfBuddy CEO, Harry Jung, and chief marketing officer, Neville Hong, joined with European general manager, John Ennis, to announce the worldwide launch of the GolfBuddy World Platinum, the company’s stunning new touch screen rangefinder.

GolfBuddy distributors from countries including Australia, Japan, Germany, UK, Ireland, Sweden, Italy and Spain heard how the NEW World Platinum is the industry’s most advanced handheld GPS rangefinder, capable of storing 40,000 courses – making it 800 times more powerful than its closest competitor.

John Ennis hosted the two-day conference, which also gave delegates representing 10 other European countries the opportunity to use demonstration models of the World Platinum on the superb Montgomerie and O’Meara courses at Carton House.

Said Ennis: “This was a great opportunity for our sales teams in Europe and in other key territories to hear about the phenomenal growth of GolfBuddy over the last four years into one of the world’s leading GPS rangefinder brands.

“And we were able to talk through the exciting global launch plans for the World Platinum, which takes GPS rangefinders to the next level and combines a touch screen and full hole layouts with a full suite of game statistics analysis – and Stableford scoring.”

Since launching in 2006, GolfBuddy has established itself as the forerunner in providing high-quality GPS rangefinders with completely free access to course maps – there are no download fees or annual subscriptions to pay.

The company, which has research and development centres in the USA and Korea, has enjoyed sales growth of more than 6,500% over the past four years as increasing numbers of golfers turn to its reliable, class-leading products and ‘fee free’ policy.

Added Ennis: “The GolfBuddy World Platinum is a superb and exciting product and the levels of interest already show that it is likely to be the hottest new golf piece of golf equipment for 2010.”

The GolfBuddy World Platinum will be widely available to golfers by August.
