GolfBuddy, Europe’s market-leading handheld GPS rangefinder with its European headquarters located in Ireland, has appointed PowaKaddy International as its sole distributor of products within the Great Britain and Northern Ireland – effective from 2 November 2009.
PowaKaddy is the market leader for powered golf trolleys within the UK and employs a highly-skilled, motivated and professional sales force with average length of 15 years’ service.
The synergies of partnering with the fastest growing handheld GPS golf rangefinder in the world are obvious, and will lead to significant market penetration for GolfBuddy products in the UK.
Announcing the agreement at its headquarters in Sittingbourne, Kent, the Chief Executive of PowaKaddy Group, Terry Hale, said: “GolfBuddy entered the European marketplace in April 2009 and during that time has already established a leading position in terms of sales outlets in continental Europe.
