Golf Genius Software (GGS, www.golfgenius.com), the leading supplier of golf tournament management software, announces that it has managed more than 150,000 golf tournaments involving more than 5-million player rounds so far in 2017, which is four times higher than all of 2016.

Golf Genius CEO Mike Zisman

“We are thrilled with our company’s fast-paced worldwide growth,” said Mike Zisman, CEO of GGS. “Consistent week in and week out usage is a true testament to the benefits our customers realize using Golf Genius. Five million player rounds is clear evidence that our customers are aggressively using our product as a core component of their golf operations.”

Today, GGS counts thousands of North American customers as a result of the introduction of USGA Tournament Management (USGA TM) earlier this year. USGA TM is a USGA-branded version of the Golf Genius product that is used by golf associations and member clubs within the GHIN (Golf Handicap and Information Network) subscriber community.

Worldwide, GGS is growing rapidly in the United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Russia.

Major product features – such as event registration, professional customizable printed materials, a full library of scoring formats and live scoring and leaderboards – are aimed at reducing the time and effort required by golf professionals to execute a successful golf event and creates a more exciting and memorable experience for every participant.

According to Zisman: “A very important driver of our growth has been carefully listening to our customers and regularly enhancing Golf Genius to meet their needs. In 2017 alone, we have released five product updates that are directly responsive to customer requests.”
