Golf Consultants launch new ‘Profit from Golf’ website

7.49am 20th March 2009 - Corporate

Visitors to the website at www.profitfromgolf.com will be able to access advice from the industry’s most successful experts across all key sectors, including marketing and operating a golf business, buying & selling golf properties, designing and building golf courses and clubhouses, plus research, finance, and the environment.

“GCA members have advised every conceivable kind of golf business over the last ten years,” said the Association’s chairman Ian Bulleid. “Now more than ever, our friends in the golf industry need to get the right advice, in order to make their business not only survive, but to prosper and fulfil their business potential.

“That’s why the GCA exists – we’re a central point of contact for the golf industry, matching a client’s needs with the right sort of expert advice. We are a non-profit-making organisation, despite the name of our new website!

“I urge all in the golf industry to contact us through www.profitfromgolf.com – let’s get talking about what your golf business needs now, in spring 2009, to fight the recession and to emerge afterwards in better shape than ever before.”

GCA exec committee member Andy Hiseman, whose firm helped to produce the new website, said, “The website is there to let all golf businesses know that help is at hand, if they need it. We want our fellow golf businessmen to get in touch, in confidence and with no obligation, with us here at the GCA, and to at least start to enquire whether our team can help your golf business make more profit from golf.

“Over the next few weeks the new GCA website will also add an archive of materials from the many successful Conferences and Roadshows which the Association has hosted over the last four years.”

With the continued support of Ransomes Jacobsen, the Golf Consultants Association, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2009, will again be running its popular ‘GCA ‘Profit From Golf’ Roadshows’ programme in the UK this year.

“We have a tried and tested Roadshows formula which works well,” said Bulleid, “and we will be publishing full details of this year’s GCA Roadshow events on the new website shortly.”

The Golf Consultants Association is a non-profit making organisation, comprising a membership of the UK’s leading independent golf industry experts who specialise in helping golf course developers and operators to build a successful golf business. From a single point of contact, GCA customers can access a complete A-Z of golf industry services, from initial site planning to the latest digital marketing techniques.
