Footjoy Myjoys grow from strength to strength

12.04am 18th March 2008 - Corporate

The hugely successful FootJoy MyJoys franchise has kicked off 2008 in style by announcing a new look line up for the coming season. The #1 shoe in golf and leader in golf shoe technology has introduced both the DryJoys Tech and DryJoys Traditional styles featuring the revolutionary PODS outsole technology to the MyJoys line up.

The innovative shoe customisation service now in its 4th year has developed into one of the most popular initiatives in the golf shoe industry. With 72,000 colour options and a total of 5 men’s shoe styles and 3 women’s styles, the FootJoy MyJoys range is now bigger and better than ever.

“The FootJoy MyJoys franchise has been a huge success and we are delighted to be able to offer the new styles in such a variety of colour options. We have launched the 2008 DryJoy range that feature the PODS outsole technology and we are extremely proud to be able to provide this in the DryJoys MyJoys options. The new website is now live and we are looking forward to seeing some of the unique creations” commented Richard Fryer, FootJoy European marketing manager.

Golfers can visit the unique MyJoys microsite at http://www.footjoy.co.uk/myjoys/ where they can go through the process of choosing their desired shoe style, colour option and combination as well as the 6 characters or logo options to increase the personalisation of each shoe.

Once the design is complete, it can be printed off and taken or emailed to the local FootJoy stockist who will process the order. Lead-times remain at around 3 weeks from start to finish.

FootJoy will continue to offer the popular mixed size option across the entire range as 80% of the population have different sized left and right feet. This allows golfers to specify the size and width requirements of each shoe hence creating the ultimate pair of customised golf shoes that deliver perfect comfort and fit.
