The UK Golf Federation is excited to have Jason Stanton join its board for 2023. Already packed with skilled key golf industry leaders who run golf facilities across the UK, Jason brings new ideas and vision to new areas of golf facility management.
Jason has more than 30 years in the leisure, health, golf and cultural sectors. Having worked in both the private and public sectors, Jason joined Mytime Active, the second largest golf operator in the UK in 2015, as the Divisional Manager for the company’s golf portfolio. He was appointed as Operations Director in 2016 and promoted to Chief Executive in April 2022.
Jason has a passion for the promotion of the health benefits of golf. This passion has led to published medical research, which was undertaken with partners England Golf and ukactive. This research led to the delivery of a bespoke GP Referral Model for golf, Golf on Referral.
Jason’s career has enabled him to gain a wealth of experience in operations. Jason specialises in the successful delivery of both social and commercial objectives, strategic development, organisational improvement, the delivery of excellent customer service, developing innovative stakeholder partnerships, establishing best practice, delivering capital investment programmes and developing a highly performing workforce.
