Golf Marketing Services Ltd (GMS) has announced that ETIQUS, makers of distinctive timepieces for golfers, has appointed the agency to handle its PR in the UK and Europe.
As a new British brand ETIQUS launched its debut collection of Swiss movement watches in September last year to great acclaim.
The ETIQUS brand name is derived from etiquette, an integral and inextricable part of the game which has come to define golf’s values worldwide. Many of the timepieces feature the unique ‘Butler Bezel’ originally inspired by Pace of Play guidelines published by The R&A.
The watches also feature several subtle design features that will be appreciated by golfers, and come in a range of golf-related face colours and strap materials, including solid stainless steel, genuine leather and durable silicone rubber.
ETIQUS is one of several new additions to the GMS client roster since the start of 2015, and comes off the back of GMS’ most successful year, 2014, since the agency began trading in 2001.
“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to work with ETIQUS and look forward to telling the brand’s story, as well as communicating the quality of the products, over the coming months,” said Sam Elder, Account Director at GMS.
Gary Butler, Founder of ETIQUS, added; “GMS has an exceptional reputation within the golf sector and already looks after an extremely reputable range of clients.
“ETIQUS has made good progress in the last nine months and I’m delighted and look forward to working with the GMS team on the next important steps in the development of the brand in order to help us achieve our long-term business objectives.”
ETIQUS joins the current GMS client roster which includes: Axglo Push Carts, BGL Golf, Carnoustie Golf Links, Castiglion del Bosco, Close House, ECCO Golf, Foremost, Golf Pride, GolfBoard, Marriott Golf, PING, PING Apparel, Voice Caddie and Sports Marketing Surveys INC.
