Duca Del Cosma expands into new European markets

5.07pm 10th May 2021 - Corporate

Italian golf fashion brand Duca del Cosma has ramped up its expansion throughout Europe, marked by recent market entry into both Russia and Turkey.

The global brand sells its golf shoes in more than 30 countries worldwide and can now add a further two nations to that list having received SS21 range orders from Russia and Turkey for the first time.

“We are delighted with how the business is continuing to expand at a fast pace in both new and established markets in Europe,” said Keith Dicker, Sales Manager Europe. “We firmly believe that our SS21 collection will be a big hit with golfers seeking top-quality footwear across Europe, especially those new to the brand in Russia and Turkey.

“Baldovino Mattiazzo, our Head Designer, continues to use his Italian heritage to great effect as the stylish designs each year resonate superbly with European golfers. So far this year, the classic ELPASO has been a top seller in the men’s range, while the SIREN and WILDCAT have proved popular with women golfers. In addition to our outstanding shoe collection, we are able to guarantee a reliable and consistent supply of stock due to our manufacturing arrangements in four facilities on the continent.”

Working with established distributors, agents and sales representatives has ensured Duca del Cosma remains a key player in the golf shoe business on the continent. The European sales team – made up of 17 experienced sales professionals – have been working with retail partners in a host of regions to ensure stock levels of the distinctive golf shoes are consistently met throughout the season.

Recent notable orders have also been placed by retailers in France, Switzerland, Portugal, Finland and Slovakia, plus a host of exclusive resorts.

In the Italian market, Duca del Cosma remains popular with golfers seeking supremely stylish golf shoes. This has seen a leading retailer in Italy stock the brand in eight out of its ten stores, including its flagship Milan store. To meet the unprecedented demand for its shoes, stock is replenished on a weekly basis.
