Colt Mackenzie McNair, the leading global recruitment firm within the golf industry, has announced the return of Douglas Philip as Director.

This exciting development brings together two industry powerhouses and marks a significant milestone in CMM’s journey.

The company, with offices both in Ascot, UK and Georgia, USA, has recently experienced a period of strong growth, helping to solidify its position as the pre-eminent recruitment firm within the industry. The addition of Philip strengthens the company’s experience and ability to work across all sectors of the global golf industry.

The move also adds substantial value to CMM’s extensive client base, which spans over 250 clients in 29 countries, with notable partners including renowned organisations such as The PGA of America, The R&A, Wentworth, Rainbird, IMG, and several leading golf clubs and properties.

Richard Wood, Managing Director, Colt Mackenzie McNair, commented: “This acquisition not only strengthens our market position but also expands our capabilities to deliver even greater value to our clients. We are excited about Doug re-joining the team and the opportunities this brings. Our shared values and approach to search make this a natural fit, and his expertise complements the CMM business perfectly.”

Philip also expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m delighted to be re-joining CMM after seven-and-a-half years of building DPSM. As a group, we now have a great opportunity to solidify our position as the premier golf industry search firm outside of the US. We have an exciting few years ahead.”
