The Confederation of Professional Golf has announced that it is to host its inaugural CPG Centurion Club Invitational Pro-Am from 11-13 July.
The event forms part of an extended relationship between the two organisations, where Centurion Club have been the international headquarters of the CPG since the launch of its new name and brand in September 2019.
CPG Chief Executive Ian Randell said: “We are proud to have the Centurion Club as our international headquarters and are delighted to be expanding our partnership through the CPG Centurion Club Invitational Pro-Am. Their commitment to provide an exceptional experience to their community of members very much aligns with our own ideals and principles and this coupled with the fabulous facilities and location make Centurion Club an ideal home for both CPG and this event.”
This partnership with Centurion Club, and subsequent launch of the CPG Centurion Club Invitational Pro-Am, are cornerstones to the CPG’s Commercial Partnership Programme and Business Club – both recently launched as part of the CPG’s five-year strategic plan.
Scott Evans, Managing Director of Centurion Club, which is located near Hemel Hempsted in Hertfordshire, said: “Since 2019, the CPG made their home at Centurion Club, and we are delighted to be partnering with them on this event, which further develops the already-strong relationship that we share. We look forward to welcoming the CPG’s guests and our own teams to what will be a fantastic three days and treating them to a wonderful experience at Centurion Club.”
CPG Corporate Partners and Business Club Members have exclusive access to play in the event – limited to 25 teams – and enjoy a competitive tournament, and the opportunity to develop meaningful business relationships, all at one of England’s finest golf facilities ideally located close to London.
The CPG will also invite leading PGA Professionals from across its 40 Member Countries to play with each team, joined by high-profile former Tour Professionals and Celebrities.
