The Club Managers Association of Europe is to host an online event designed to help club managers lead their clubs out of the post-Coronavirus recession.
Supported by the R&A, “How to manage & lead your club out of the post Covid-19 Recession’ is a virtual workshop that will use the latest technology to deliver resources designed to meet the challenges currently facing club managers all over the world.
Taking place over two days on August 11-12, the workshop is built around five core modules, each of which will deliver five key elements. This will ensure the workshop is relevant to clubs of every type, every size and in every location.
The workshop’s team of presenters are experts in their fields, and will include sessions on Leadership by John Bull; Strategy and Communication by Bill Sanderson; Finance by Debra Adams, and People Skills by Darshan Singh. Torbjorn Johansson, the CMAE’s Director of Education, will host the sessions.
Designed for a maximum practical and relevant response to the demands created on you and your Club by Covid-19, this means only the first 15 people to enrol can benefit.
Johansson commented: “We are glad and proud to have the support of the R&A in delivering an online event that will make a difference, with the aim of really providing tools to strengthen the person and the club after we all have been through a really difficult time.”
