The Scottish leg of Club Systems International’s ClubV1 roadshow came to a close at Glasgow’s Haggs Castle GC yesterday (Thursday, 6 February) with club officials giving the new software a unanimous thumbs-up!
The Glasgow club was the last of four venues north of the border and each was well attended by club officials keen to learn more about Club Systems International’s new cloud-based ClubV1 administration system.
While the emphasis of the roadshow – which takes in 16 venues in 39 days – will be on the prowess and simplicity of ClubV1, which was launched to massive industry acclaim in September, staff are also on hand to discuss the whole of the Club Systems International range.
This includes MerlinTouchEPoS – which is now available via a rental scheme; the new PSiTouch screens, enabling forward booking, competition sign-in, score entry and swipe card transaction history; PSiBoard (Player Score Information Board), displaying live current information to members and guests; and CSiSites, the website design service which integrates sites with club software.
The key attributes of the new cloud-based ClubV1 application include flexibility of use from any device and location; extensive drill-down capabilities on members’ golf and financial activity; radical improvement of competition and handicapping administration; and extensive advances to member and visitor communication and marketing.
Club Systems International’s sales manager, Hilary Clamp, was thrilled with the response to ClubV1, and said: “The reaction to ClubV1 in our first four roadshow events, in Scotland, has been overwhelmingly positive with club officials seeing the benefits almost immediately. We have even had some sign-up there and then, while others have already come back to us, following the demo days, to upgrade.
“Travelling around like this gives us a great opportunity to meet existing and potential clients, and, even in these days of cloud-based operations, the value of face-to-face interaction with your customers should not be under-estimated.”
The roadshow continues in the north of England next week and culminates with a visit to Erewash Valley GC, in the Derbyshire town of Ilkeston, on Thursday, March 13.
