Club Car, the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles, has revealed that Golf de Andratx’s investment in a new golf car fleet has enabled it to secure 70% of the island’s market share.

The order for 60 new Precedent cars – the biggest Club Car has received from any golf course and resort on the island – confirms Club Car’s leading position in Mallorca, with prestigious clients including Son Gual, Son Antem, Son Vida and Puntiro.

Situated in the south western corner of Mallorca, Golf de Andratx’s new fleet brings the total of Club Car golf cars used on Palma de Mallorca to 605 units, equating to almost three quarters of the overall number of vehicles found on the island.

Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands with 23 golf courses, 17 of which now operate Club Car fleets to help members, customers and staff manoeuvre their championship courses and expansive complexes.

“With Club Car’s strong reputation as a leader within the golf industry, both in technological innovations and in first-class customer service, maintenance and value, our decision to invest in a new fleet was simple,” commented Ana Galindo, Golf de Andratx Director.

“The cars stand out from the competition by the way they drive, the way they look and how easily they can be managed – and ultimately, that is the type of differentiation we believe we need to align ourselves with to achieve our goal of becoming a championship destination,” added Ana Galindo.
