Victories at the Masters and US Open prove that Major winners play Callaway, and with the Open Championship just around the corner, customers across the UK can be winners too if Callaway makes it three out of three at the next Major.
In the ‘If Phil Wins, You Win promotion’, if Masters Champ Phil Mickelson does claim the Claret Jug at St Andrews, anybody who buys a new Callaway driver from the 2010 range – either an FTiZ, FT Tour or Diablo Edge – between June 21st and July 14th , will be entitled to a full refund on their purchase.
What’s more, the chances of it happening are good as Phil has an amazing record of delivering a victory when it counts. This is the third time Callaway has been involved in a promotion of this type, and Phil has won on the two previous occasions…so the odds are well-and-truly weighed in favour of Callaway customers.
Callaway’s President of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Neil Howie, said: “The ‘If Phil Wins, You Win’ promotion has been a phenomenal success in the past are we’re pleased to again be offering it to consumers purchasing a Driver from our 2010 range.
“Our new product line-up has been delivering victories on Tour all season and I have every confidence Phil will do his best to deliver another Major this year, especially as our loyal customers will all be cheering him on too!”
The mechanics of how this promotion will work are simple. When consumers purchase a 2010 Callaway Driver from a Callaway Preferred Retailer, they will receive a scratch card that will reveal a unique reference code.
Then by visiting www.mycallaway.eu, driver owners will be able to register for the promotion by inputting the unique reference code; and by subsequently correctly answering three questions about Phil Mickelson. (Consumers buying a custom-build Driver shall enter the 12-digit item code on the sticker on the shaft of the club).
If Phil should go on to win The Open Championship, all registered purchasers will then be entitled to receive a full refund on their drivers, thanks to the efforts of the current World Number Two player.
“We’re all urging Phil to win The Open. If we can create a lot of happy Callaway customers because of our growing success on Tour, I will be delighted,’ added Neil.
