Bridgestone Golf appointment

Specialist sports marketing consultancy, Andrew Keast Marketing, has been appointed to implement a marketing and media relations programme for leading golf ball manufacturer Bridgestone Golf within the UK and Ireland markets.

The appointment coincides with an exciting new phase for the brand which sees the opening of a new 6,000 square feet state of the art UK head office and warehousing facility located in Market Drayton, Shropshire.

The brief is to create innovative marketing programmes to support future growth plans with specific focus on supporting the new 2009 range of products, a range spear headed by the new 3 model B330 range of premium tour caliber golf balls.

Bridgestone Golf, whose headquarters are in Tokyo, started making golf balls in 1935 and over the intervening 70 years has built a strong reputation for manufacturing premium golf balls, clubs and accessories under the Precept and Bridgestone brand names.

Bridgestone is represented on a world stage by a number of internationally famed golfers including, Stuart Appleby, Fred Couples, Nick Price, Charles Howell III and Brandt Snedeker.
