Brand Events and IMG to expand Golf LIVE globally

Brand Events, the ground breaking live event company and IMG Worldwide (IMG), the premier global sports, fashion and media company, announced today that they have entered into a strategic partnership agreement to further globally expand Golf LIVE, the UK’s most prominent consumer golf event that provides a completely interactive experience for golf lovers.

Since the launch of Golf LIVE in the UK in 2010, Brand Events the company behind the concept has been working very closely with IMG in a relationship which has now blossomed into a pivotal combined venture.

Under the terms of the agreement, Brand Events and IMG Golf will utilise their expertise, resources and know-how to further expand and enhance the Golf LIVE event to new audiences, representing an exciting chapter in the event’s roll out. Both partners are keen to take the event to new markets internationally, including potentially to South Africa, Australia, Asia, America, Continental Europe and also the Middle East.

The announcement is perfectly timed, with the second instalment of Golf LIVE coming up on 20-22 May 2011 at new venue of The London Golf Club, where the gates open to three action packed days, allowing visitors an “inside the ropes” experience to watch, learn and interact with Tour Professionals and famous faces from the world of golf.
