Duncan Ross Contractors, the leading north-west of England specialist in landscaping, sportsturf and drainage, has taken delivery of a heavy duty BLEC disc seeder.

The 2.2metre seeder has been added to the extensive fleet of machinery owned by the company, based in Burscough, Lancashire.

“We are delighted with the performance of the BLEC seeder,” says managing director Duncan Ross, whose company was founded in 1960. “BLEC machines are reliable, well-designed and well-manufactured.”

Duncan Ross also have a BLEC Sandmaster, Turfmaker Seeder and Blecavator.

Says BLEC managing director Gary Mumby: “We are delighted that Duncan and his team are so impressed by our machinery, which has all been specially developed at our Peterborough factory.

“We have had excellent results with seeder sales since SALTEX in Windsor, BTME in Harrogate and also from our stand at the Golf Industry Show in Orlando, Florida.”

Duncan Ross Contractors have completed sports field construction and drainage projects at Bolton RUFC, Hurlston Hall Golf Course, Newcastle Grammar School and have recently begun construction of four sports pitches for Bolton Council.
