BIG MAX Passes on Savings to Retailers

4.28pm 25th March 2022 - Corporate

At a time when prices are only going in one direction, Europe’s leading push trolley manufacturer, BIG MAX, is bucking the trend with a £10 reduction in the trade price of its award-winning push trolleys.

Following the switch of its U.K. operations to Worldwide Golf Brands in 2021, the brand has secured savings in its supply chain. In a move sure to delight retailers, BIG MAX has decided to pass on the savings so that retailers can increase margins and enjoy bigger profits with BIG MAX trolleys.

“The past couple of years has seen spiralling costs for golf manufacturers, with many of those costs being passed on to retailers,” commented Steve Grant, U.K. & Ireland Sales Manager for WWGB. “We’ve always tried to take our share of the burden of increased prices as we very much see golf retailers as our partners. So now we’re able to benefit from reductions in the supply costs of our push trolleys, it’s only fair that we share in that too. This is a great opportunity for retailers to increase their margins. BIG MAX is a great brand that will sustain a premium price at retail, so we hope that all our customers can enjoy a little more reward for their efforts.”

BIG MAX will implement the trade saving across its entire push trolley range from 21st March 2022. This means that retailers can benefit from improved pricing on the brand’s multi award winning Fold-Flat range of trolleys, including the BLADE IP that folds down to just 12.5 cm deep. It also includes iconic designs such as the IQ360 with its rotating front wheel, large storage area and ultra-compact folding mechanism.
