Another milestone for Explanar Golf

8.06am 17th March 2009 - Corporate

Explanar user YE Yang won his first PGA Tour title at PGA National when he secured the Honda Classic and thus became Explanar Golf’s first PGA Tour winner.

“This is big news for us,” said Tony Clark, CEO of Explanar. “I visited YE Yang last year at his home in California and installed the Explanar that he had ordered. YE Yang’s results hadn’t been going too well and he’d recently started working with Florida based Coach Brian Mogg.

“I spoke with Brian before I left and asked what he and Yang had been working on. Brian explained that Yang had been getting the club too much on the inside going back with his weight on his right heel. When YE Yang got into his Explanar I saw that that this wasn’t helped by a strong left hand.

“With the Explanar set to YE Yang’s optimum plane and a weaker left hand, Yang immediately gained more width, with the freedom to hinge his wrists to plane and enjoy more freedom on the downswing allowing for a powerful and controlled release.”

Clark spoke with Brian Mogg after day 2 of the Honda Classic. Mogg said, “We worked together at Pebble and in the past 3 weeks Yang has made huge improvements. He’s the hardest worker I know. I believe that if he doesn’t win this week he’ll win in the next two!”

How’s that for a prediction?! Brian Mogg is based at The Golden Bear Club at Keene’s Pointe near Orlando.

In just the past two years Explanar has come to the attention of Tour Players on all the main Tours and already Explanar can proudly claim a share of a PGA title.

“With ‘Team YE Yang’ including Explanar, Brian Mogg and IMG we can look forward to more success from this excellent golfer,” said Clark. “We’ve seen dramatic results from Jerry Kelly (5th at Masters, 7th US Open) and Paul McGinley (best Open since 1996) immediately after they invested in an Explanar and LPGA star Johanna Mundy has seen her accuracy improve and length increase by 28 yards. In Johanna’s words, ‘check the stats’”
