American Golf has announced a partnership with the European Tour that will see it deliver ‘Fan Experience Zones’ at this year’s British Masters, BMW PGA Championship and Scottish Open.
As an official sponsor and fan experience partner of the Tour, American Golf will deliver experiential activities at each of the events that are designed to be fun, easy to try and engaging for a range of fans, from the most avid golfers to absolute beginners.
On agreeing the partnership Conrad Edkins, Director of Marketing at American Golf, commented: “We’re delighted to agree this partnership with the European Tour and to have the chance to help fans enjoy swinging a club at three of the biggest golf events in the UK. Our aim is to give golfers of all abilities, and even absolute beginners, the chance to swing a club, improve their game, have a go at some fantastic games that have been designed especially for these events and maybe even win a prize. Most of all though, we want the fans to have a fantastic experience with a club in hand whilst taking in the spectacle provided by the world’s best golfers out on the course.”
Among various attractions, visitors to the American Golf Fan Experience Zone will have the chance to take part in a short game ‘Skeeball’ chipping challenge, test their skill on the American Golf putting course and even take on a unique version of the board game ‘Connect Fore!’ The focus will be firmly set to fun and with specially designed activities on offer every golfer will be able to try something new.
In the lead up to the events, American Golf will be offering its customers the chance to make their visit even more memorable with a range of exclusive prizes. With the first event at the British Masters less than a fortnight away, prizes currently up for grabs are four pairs of VIP hospitality tickets for the event at Hillside Golf Club, plus £150 in American Golf vouchers; two pairs of VIP hospitality tickets to the first 2019 Hero Challenge, set in a purpose-built arena right in the heart of Liverpool’s docks; and six pairs of tickets for entry to the final days of the tournament.
Fans are being asked to follow American Golf’s social channels for news of the competitions and like and share for the chance to see the Experience Zones in person.
