Aldila, among the world leaders in its specialist field, is now the ‘Official Shaft’ of the PGAs of Europe.
A corporate partnership agreement has been finalised that enables Aldila to join the similar group of elite companies, from the industry of golf who, as Partners, already work together with those 37 PGAs comprising the European Association.
“We’re very proud to have them on board,” said PGAs of Europe chief executive Ian Randell. “Aldila are one of those instantly-recognisable names that represent quality and longevity in their own particular range of products.
“Their business profile precisely matches our policy of associating with the very best companies, those whose reputation for reliability of service to the golfing public has been earned by tried and tested results over a considerable period of time.”
Adding to the ideal nature of the mutually beneficial business link is the fact that Aldila’s new European sales manager is Paul Steels who, for more than twenty years, fulfilled a similar role with Eaton Golf Pride, the Official Golf Grip of the PGAs of Europe.
“Aldila are very pleased with the arrangement,” he said. “I’m very well aware, from past experience, of the benefits of working closely with the PGAs of Europe. It means that your company receives the seal of approval from an official body representing more than 30 PGAs from both inside and outside of Europe.
“On a personal level, joining Aldila is an exciting new challenge in terms of marketing products of guaranteed quality, based on years of experience and technology research, “ he added. “Every golf club in the world requires a shaft and the name Aldila is instantly recognised by a very high percentage of players world wide.
“Now, the endorsement of the PGAs of Europe becomes an additional marketing tool and we look forward to providing more information to the PGA of Europe member countries about our new products for 2008 and also to working with another Partner, Golfsmith, to offer special promotional demo shaft programmes to the members.”
Aldila shafts are used by the winners of countless championships around the world each year, both amateur and professional.
