2011 marks the beginning of an exciting era in Spain for the Titleist and FootJoy brands when Acushnet opens a company-owned operation that will comprise dedicated field sales representation supported by customer service, marketing and credit control functions.

Acushnet’s brands offer market leading, high performance products. Titleist’s golf ball family is headed by the legendary Pro V1 franchise and the growth of the Titleist golf club business continues thanks to innovative product introductions like the AP irons and soon to be launched 910 driver and metals.

“Our aim is to identify and develop new opportunities with stakeholders within the golf industry, including national organisations and federations, the trade and media” said Gary Miller, Vice President for Acushnet Europe.

The 2011 FootJoy product line is spearheaded by new patterns within the Tour proven FJ ICON category as well as the exciting launch of DryJoys Tour.  FootJoy remains the overwhelming favourite shoe and glove for Tour players as well as golfers of all abilities around the world.

“We are close to finalising our sales and support structure for Spain. We are very excited by this new venture and the prospect of doing business in Spain” said Jeremy Tomlinson, Director EMEA and General Manager, Continental Europe.
