12.05am 22nd March 2006 - Corporate

An impressive new web site packed with information dedicated to making good turf great has been launched by Syngenta and Scotts. www.primomaxx.co.uk provides all the technical details, guidelines and practical tips to help turf managers get the best results with the unique new growth regulator, Primo MAXX.
The site includes the chance to win a fantastic trip to the US Golf Industry Show in California, along with loads of prizes for everyone in the Primo MAXX 3-round Challenge.
“Primo MAXX is a revolutionary concept for turf management. It requires new techniques in application and timing to fully exploit the great advantages for grass quality and consistency, as well as reducing the frequency of cutting and volume of clippings,” according to Syngenta turf manager, Simon Elsworth. “The web site provides turf managers and advisors with the answers in one fast and easy-to-use reference point.”
The site provides examples of typical Primo MAXX programmes for different turf applications, along with answers to the most frequently asked questions.
On the web site, readers can also learn from the experiences of golf course managers, football club groundsmen and amenity grass contractors who used Primo MAXX in season-long trials last year. The web site is a free service, at www.primomaxx.co.uk
