After a memorable first year in 2005, FootJoy’s Contour Series is enjoying even more success in 2006. Billed as the ultimate in comfort and flexibility, the Contour Series also delivers an unbeatable combination of casual styling and unerring FootJoy durability, quality and waterproofing.
The Contour Series line-up for 2006 includes four new styles with the most popular being the all Black 54221 and White/Brown 54215. The latest Sports Marketing Surveys Retail Audit* reveals that the Contours are now the 5th best selling men’s model of golf shoe in the UK market with 7.2%, behind the best selling FootJoy AquaLites in #1 position with 17.2%, FootJoy DryJoys (8.4%), FootJoy DryJoys PRO (7.7%) and FootJoy GreenJoys with 7.3%.
As Jeremy Baldwin, FootJoy’s director of product management comments, “We expected big things from the new Contour Series and so far, sales have exceeded expectations. We have improved the styling for 2006 to add to the already renowned comfort and this has proved extremely popular.”
The FootJoy Contour Series features a slip last construction often found in running shoes, which allows for a contoured underfoot platform and provides unparalleled comfort and flexibility. The full grain leather uppers, EVA Midsole and the new Ultra flexible DuraMax rubber outsole add to the shoes support, fit and durability.
The Contour Series comes in four new styles and the RRP is £82.
