Hilton, Official Supplier to The European Tour, has agreed to become an Associate Sponsor of the BMW PGA Championship, held at The Wentworth Club, May 26th-29th 2016. The agreement not only underlines the growing commitment of Hilton, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, to the game of golf, but the ability of the European Tour to attract truly global brands to its headline events.
The announcement sees Hilton become a sponsor at the event for a second consecutive season after a successful first outing last year, with the sponsorship including an extensive exhibition unit space with engaging activities for golf fans.
Hilton is in their second year as the Official Supplier of Hotel Accommodation to The European Tour, and remains Official Sponsor of the successful Hilton European Tour Golfer of the Month award. Winners over the past 14 months, since Hilton began sponsoring the award, include the likes of Rory McIlroy, recent Masters Champion Danny Willett, and Shane Lowry.
A select panel of experts comprised of leading journalists and special invited guests choose their chosen winner from a shortlist, with the overall winner receiving an upgrade to Hilton HHonors Elite Diamond status, the highest level of Hilton’s award-winning guest loyalty program.
