The patent pending CROSSHAIRS GreenStik tool has been created to repair, aerate and top dress pitch marks on golf greens that have been damaged by golf balls hitting the turf.

The unique features of the tool includes a plastic tubular body that has a spring loaded action that allows for the steel prongs to be exposed when engaging the tool by pushing it against the turf.

The bottom of the tool has a cap with a beveled edge on opposite sides so that the tool can be pushed into the turf at an angle. As the steel prongs are exposed through the holes on the bottom cap of the tool, the tool is rotated vertically so that the pitch marks may be pushed back into their original position. This allows for the optimal leverage to repair pitch marks properly without damaging the green.

When engaging and disengaging the GreenStik tool by pushing the tool downward in a vertical position, the steel prongs are exposed through the bottom cap in an up and down manner. This allows for the tool to aerate the damaged turf. At the same time, the bottom cap of the tool is used to tamp and level the damaged area.

Another unique feature of the GreenStik tool is its sand delivery mechanism. Sand is placed into the top of the plastic tube after removing the top cap. Seed may also be mixed with the sand. The sand and seed mix is released when the tool is engaged by pushing down on the tool and exposing the steel prongs into the turf. Sand flow stops as soon as the tool is disengaged and the spring returns to an unloaded position. In this way sand will help to fill the recessed area of the damaged turf caused by the golf ball hitting the green. By rotating the tool 180 degrees to the ‘No Flow’ side of the tool, it may be used without delivering sand.

The GreenStik tool is very effective on any greens surface. This tool is a labor saving device that will help to preserve the condition of golf greens throughout the playing season.
