Club Car, the world’s largest small-wheel vehicle manufacturer for hotel, golf, commercial, business and personal use, and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, will demonstrate its expertise in the utility vehicles and latest additions to its extensive range of 85 different models of golf and utility vehicles, at SALTEX, stand E095, 4-5 November in Birmingham.
Club Car will showcase the new range of Carryall utility vehicles and technical advances including the Precedent i3, a unique golf car with built-in connectivity as a standard feature, and the Visage™, a unique mobile golf information system.
The recently refreshed range of Carryall utility vehicles feature a new look, better comfort and the new E.R.I.C.* on-board charger with improved peak efficiency of 93 percent. The redesigned, modular integrated cabin that sits flush on the vehicle allows customers to build up their own vehicle including the cabin and utility section. For further improved ergonomics, the entire range is available with the new VersAttach™ bed-based attachment system to fix tools such as hedge trimmers and leaf blowers to the rear cargo box. VersAttach can easily be configured for specific jobs in virtually all applications or quickly removed when not needed.
Featured at the stand will be the new Subaru 404cc overhead cam engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI). The new engines boost horsepower by 30 percent and fuel efficiency by as much as 50 percent over previous Carryall utility vehicle engines contributing to improved reliability and reduced maintenance costs.
“We work closely with our customers and see that in today’s economy and fluctuating budgets, they are constantly being asked to do more with less. Our new range of Club Car Carryall vehicles has been designed to do truly more: hauling, transporting crews, maintenance jobs while saving operating costs, time and money with improved efficiency,” said Dennis de Roos, utility sales director for Europe, Middle East, India, and Africa at Club Car. “We see the new Carryall as the one utility vehicle that can tackle a thousand jobs and this is just part of our customized solutions portfolio.”
Visitors to the stand E095 will also be able to experience the fully ‘connected’ Precedent i3 golf car, designed to allow customers to decide how many of the connected features they want to add to their fleet starting with simple diagnostics, all the way up to the integrated Visage information system. The Visage advances the golfer’s experience as well as helps courses operate more efficiently thanks to the cloud-based remote connectivity for control over the fleet, maintenance and operations.
“Connectivity affects every aspect of our lives and at Club Car we have always aimed at being pioneers in delivering products that enhance our customers operations and improve their profitability,” said Kevin Hart, sales director Golf for Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Club Car. “This approach is reflected in the Precedent i3 and in the Visage system, which heightens the golf experience for players and gives the golf course managers complete control over their fleet and operation from most mobile devices.”
