The Scottish Ladies’ Golfing Association is launching SLGA Golf Girls, a brand new series of fun coach and play days.
Led by SLGA girls Development Coach, PGA Professional Ian Muir, the free programme will run at six locations around Scotland this April with follow up sessions in June.
Girls can sign up for any one of the six events local to them. The programme is aimed at girls who have some experience of playing golf but they don’t have to be a member of a club or have a handicap.
“We hope to be able to encourage the girls to overcome some of the barriers which put them off playing golf. The focus for each day will be to have fun, help the girls to meet and make new friends and increase confidence,” says Clare Queen, SLGA Performance Coordinator. “This is an exciting opportunity for girls to meet other young golfers, have a great day out and improve their game!”
