Kerry, Ireland, at a guide price of €2m for the entire. Property consultants, Savills, and Tom Spillane of Tom Spillane & Company Limited, are handling the sale under the instructions of Gearoid Costelloe of Grant Thornton, Statutory Receiver.
Approximately 153.32 acres of the land are in use as an 18 hole par 71, (6,790 yard long) GUI affiliated Golf Course. The course opened in 1995 and was originally designed by Dr Arthur Spring. A recent upgrade was crafted by the renowned golf architect, Tom Mackenzie. The remainder of land is in use as prime agricultural lands laid out in 4 level divisions, with excellent road frontage. Churchtown House, a residential property adjacent to the subject lands does not form part of the sale.
The overall holding had originally been intended to be developed as a Golf Resort, with Hotel & Suite complex, leisure centre and additional residential developments. The only development that has been commenced on site is part of the Hotel & Suite complex, which comprises a shell four storey structure with roofing in place and a concrete frame for the proposed Hotel.
