Many golf clubs offer great welcomes to Societies during it week. It is often more difficult to secure Society times at the weekend, particularly on a Saturday.
For that reason, for 2015 Nairn Dunbar has launched its “Society Saturdays”, where golf societies of any size are able to book and reserve times in advance of throughout the year.
Normally the third Saturday in every month, Society organisers need only call the Club in advance (01667 452741) and quote “Society Saturday” to receive the appropriate tee times at a society rate (up to 25% below the normal visitor green fee rate, depending on party size).
Some of the Saturdays have competitive walk-on opens taking place during the day. Golf Societies are very welcome to enter these or, alternatively, continue to arrange their own activities. The Opens will fill in around any pre-booked Society bookings (NOT the other way round!).
Nairn Dunbar Golf Club has welcomed Golf Societies for many years and its flat, Championship course offers an enjoyable test of golf to the low handicapper and occasional player alike. Coupled with a highly praised restaurant and clubhouse, the experience is hard to beat at a value price.
