In a very challenging market Direct Golf UK, Europe’s largest award winning multi channel golf specialist retailer, has posted record results for their year ending September 2009, with like for like revenue and profits up on 2008.
Whilst sales were flat in the high street, ‘Online’ sales were up significantly on 2008. The investment put into this area in personnel together with new systems ensuring customers received super fast delivery coupled with the best price proved to be a great success.
While other Company’s were laying people off, Direct Golf implemented systems to ensure it retained its experienced and dedicated employee’s by offering flexible working hours to help reduce costs and improve the company’s performance.
