Golf legend and short game coach, Dave Pelz, is to explain why putting is, “The easiest stroke to make, but the most difficult to coach or improve,” in one of two presentations at The Golf Show 2014 Teaching & Coaching Conference* (TCC), in association with Cleveland Golf and Srixon.
Staged on the final day of The Golf Show, which takes place on October 7-9 at the Harrogate International Centre (HIC), Yorkshire, the Teaching and Coaching Conference includes seminars and speakers on a range of topics aimed at helping PGA Professionals enhance their teaching businesses.
The author of the best-selling book, Dave Pelz’s ‘Short Game Bible’, is to take centre stage twice during the finale of Europe’s largest trade and education event, with seminars entitled The Amazing Truth About Putting and Fundamentals of Wedge Play.
Pelz’s authority on the short game spans two continents, North America and Europe, where he operates 17 popular golf schools.
He has also coached tour professionals who have amassed more than 20 major titles in total; these include Phil Mickelson, who is widely regarded as one of the finest short game players ever.
Commenting on his upcoming seminars at The Golf Show 2014, Dave Pelz said: “I will discuss the way we teach at our golf schools, how we use research and feedback, and how changing the “practice paradigm” in golf is helping our students shoot lower scores.
In addition to explaining his thoughts on the short game, Dave Pelz will provide attendees the opportunity to put their own questions to him. These may be submitted beforehand on Twitter using the hashtag #AskPelz.
