One of Africa’s most exciting new resorts has scooped another prestigious international award.
Legend Golf & Safari Resort, which was recently voted Africa’s Leading Tourism Development Project at the World Travel Awards, is now a winner again as the results of the Europe & Africa Property Awards 2009 in association with CNBC Arabiya have been revealed.
The resort, at the Big 5 malaria-free Entabeni Safari Conservancy in Limpopo, South Africa, has won an award in the category of Best Golf Resort.
Representatives of the resort, which boasts a world first 18-signature golf course designed by many of the world’s best golfers, will now be invited to attend a high profile gala dinner at the Marriott Hotel in London’s Grosvenor Square on Friday, 16 October.
The event is part of the International Property Awards, the competition dedicated to finding the best real estate professionals across the globe. The fact that Legend Golf & Safari Resort has won one of these coveted awards is proof that South Africa is not only able to compete at this level but also triumph within the highly competitive Europe and Africa property arenas.
Later this year, top scoring winners from the Europe & Africa Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from Asia Pacific, the UK, Americas and Arabia to find the ultimate world’s best in each category.
