Club Inc. have announced this week that they will be working with the On Course foundation as their official charity. The relationship sees On Course joining a number of the revolutionary ventures Club Inc. has established in just 18 months since its launch.

The On Course Foundation is a charity that uses golf as a tool in the recovery of wounded, injured and sick (WIS) servicemen, women and veterans via tuition and employment within the industry. John Simpson, the former manager of, amongst others, Nick Faldo, Benhard Langer and Sebastian Coe, established the Foundation after realising the potential impact golf could have, following a visit to the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Headley Court. Since then the Foundation has grown rapidly and have successfully created numerous employment opportunities for WIS Servicemen, women and veterans in the golf industry.

This new relationships sees the On Course Foundation become the official charity for the European Club Leadership Summit that brings together the leading 50 elite club industry professionals. This opportunity will not only help provide the needed exposure for the Foundation but will also provide a fascinating addition to the summit’s schedule of speakers.

Additionally, the Foundation is to become the official Charity to Club Inc.’s winter series of networking events that are being hosted at the Wentworth Club, the first of which takes place on the 19 November 2013. The series will be a great opportunity for golf industry professionals to find out more about the fantastic work the Foundation conducts whilst they are networking with like-minded professionals and while they are learning from an exceptional panel of educational speakers.

Niall Flanagan, Club Inc.’s Managing Director said, “we are delighted to be associated with the On Course Foundation. From the moment we first heard about the On Course Foundation we became captivated by their vision and what they have been able to achieve in just a few years.”
