The UK and Ireland’s leading professional buying groups, Foremost & Alliance Golf and TGI Golf, have announced the dates for their 2009 trade shows. Once again, the shows will be held back-to-back at the Harrogate International Centre, with Foremost’s GTEC09 show running from Sunday to Tuesday, 1-3 November The TGI Golf Show will follow on from Wednesday to Friday, 4-6 November.
Despite the economic slowdown the 2008 shows proved successful with all the industry’s big names in attendance. Many suppliers reported an increase in business orders written as the shows continue to be a success for suppliers and members alike.
Eddie Reid, TGI Golf managing director, said, “We are delighted to support this back to back initiative for the third time in 2009. It makes sense for our members, partner suppliers and the industry as a whole. Harrogate itself is a delight to visit and allied to the HIC, which provides us with a unique event atmosphere, there was little doubt that we would return again this year. We look forward to this, our sixth annual show, with a view to making the event our most successful ever for both exhibitors and delegates.”

The GTEC and TGI Golf Shows continue to provide members with the opportunity to conduct their forward buying face-to-face with suppliers. There will, once again, be a number of educational seminars contributing to CPD points for PGA professionals, as well as forums and workshops to share business ideas and expert advice.
