Burhill Golf & Leisure, one of the largest owners and operators of golf in the UK, has underlined its commitment to making its venues the best in their localities by investing in a fleet of 144 Club Car vehicles.
All 10 Burhill Golf & Leisure golf courses have taken delivery of Club Car’s latest golf car, the Precedent, and a variety of utility vehicles for course rangers and food and beverage services have also been purchased.

Owned privately by members of the Guinness family, Burhill Golf and Leisure Ltd was established in 1926. Originally Burhill Estates Company Ltd, the Company was formed to manage the estates of the then Lord Iveagh, one of which was Burhill Park, home to Burhill Golf Club.
Burhill launched into pay-and-play golf in 1982 with the building of Hoebridge Golf Centre on an estate near Woking, Surrey. The high demand for affordable, ‘no commitment’ golf led to huge success at Hoebridge and the decision to develop further into the pay-and-play golf market. Since 1992 Burhill Golf and Leisure has acquired seven more centres.
