Following their best ever season in both revenue and profitability in 2007, Srixon Sports Europe has announced both record breaking Pre Book sales ahead of the 2008 season and also its highest ever market share at 18.7% in the monthly retail audit for the end of January 2008.
The reward for majorly beating their aggressive pre Book target, was the complete UK sales team visiting the SRI Sports head office in Kobe, Japan at the end of February.
Whilst there, the team were able to brush up on their product knowledge with visits to both the club and ball factories and spent considerable time gaining further technical expertise at the science centre in Ichijima, where the Srixon Golf Ball research and manufacturing programme is based.
The opportunity was also taken whilst in Japan to have a UK sales meeting, where the complete 2008 marketing programme was unveiled and which is considered to be by far the company’s most innovative and exciting to date.
This meeting was briefly adjourned, for the presentation of the highly prestigious award for the most successful Srixon subsidiary, to Leslie Hepsworth CEO of Srixon Sports Europe by Hiroyuki Bamba – President of SRI Sports – for the fantastic achievement by the SSE Subsidiary in 2007.
