Arnold Palmer Design Company is restructuring

Erik Larsen, Executive Vice President of Arnold Palmer Design Co., is to leave the staff and will become a consultant to generate international sales. He joined Palmer Design in 1983 and has been responsible for around 125 golf course designs.

In a statement entitled “Moving forward”, sent by email to colleagues and associates on Sunday, 57-year-old Erik Larsen said: “Arnold Palmer Design Company is restructuring. As part of that I am changing positions at Mr. Palmer’s long standing golf course architectural firm from Executive VP to International Sales consultant.

“I greatly enjoyed my recent role as president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) and am proud to have been architect of more than 125 golf courses forArnold.

“I will remain Project Architect on my current projects, use my vast network of solid international contacts to generate sales for APDC and pursue my own interests in contemporary golf course architecture globally.

“As a national CLARB certified Landscape Architect, I will also focus on conversions of golf course communities and the creation of multi use recreation facilities in theUSA.”
