Organisers of the 2007 Scottish Golf Show have confirmed that two more prestigious names from the industry have signed-up to take part in this year’s show, taking place at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston, Edinburgh from 30th March to 1st April.
The St Andrews Golf Company, the people behind the Heritage Golf brand and the last Scottish club-maker still manufacturing in Scotland, and Explanar, one of the world’s most talked-about training aids, will be at this year’s three-day golf extravaganza.
The St Andrews Golf Company can trace its lineage of continuous club-making all the way back to its George Nicoll brand of 1881. George Nicoll clubs were renowned throughout the world and three-time Open champion, Sir Henry Cotton, endorsed the brand throughout his career.
Nowadays, the St Andrews Golf Company still operate at the quality end of the market, providing discerning golfers with a full set of custom-fitted clubs from the brand’s state-of-the-art modern range. They even specialise in the manufacture of fully-playable hickory clubs under the Heritage Golf brand.
Explanar, meantime, is the ultra-modern swing training device which has transformed the fortunes of tens of thousands of golfers around the world. Endorsed by Butch Harmon – the former coach of Tiger Woods – regular daily demos of the device will take place on-stage at this year’s show.
