Top quality Toro golf course machinery up for auction…

8.20am 1st March 2007 - Salesroom & Memorabilia

For golf clubs keen to snap up some top quality Toro greens and fairways mowers and other types of turfcare equipment – possibly at prices that will quite literally be unrepeatable – Manheim have just the right opportunity.

Manheim are the UK’s leading auctioneers for engineering and industrial equipment, and will auction 25 items of top quality turfcare equipment, on Monday 12th March at 10.30am at their location in Colchester.

The various machines are all believed to be no more than a couple of years old, have been maintained in very good condition and most relevantly, come with low hours readings. The condition of the sets of blades are good, and each machine will be cleaned thoroughly and presented in showroom order. Just what every green keeper wants…

The list of turfcare machinery is impressive as well as comprehensive:

Toro mowers:
3 x Reelmasters, a 2000D and 2 x 6700D fairway mowers
3 x Greensmaster 3250D ride-on greens mowers
3 x Groundsmasters, 4000D and 2 x 3500D
Groundsman 4100D rough mower
3 x Greens Mower 1000 walk greens mowers

Toro utility vehicles:
Workman 4300D
Workman 3300D

Bunker raking machines:
Toro SandPro
Jacobsen Sand Scorpion

Other equipment:
Vertidrain 1.6 mtr vertidraining unit
Trihung Jacobsen TriKing ride-on mower
Trimax Warlord 2.35 mtr tractor linkage-mounted rough mower

There is considerable interest being shown already but as Chris Mynott explains, “We’re expecting keen bidding, but given the high prices of these machines when new, the auction represents a rare opportunity to acquire top quality equipment for a great deal less than you might expect to pay.”

More information from Chris Mynott on 0870 252 0403. The auction itself is being held at Manheim Auctions Colchester, Colchester Road, Frating, Essex, CO7 7DX.
